“overall hotel is about a three star. Looks pretty clean on the outside, but in the inside it’s slightly ran down but in the middle of a remodel. The Jacuzzi in the suite was very outdated but functional. The swimming pool area was about a four out of 10 as far as cleanliness so swimming with my child was a little concerning.”

“The building is unique, beautiful antiques. Room was clean and spacious. Location was fun, close to the river and walking path and historic main street. Con: very disappointed in the breakfast. Should advertise a roll not breakfast. Also it doesn't start until 7:30. A tad late for people that need to leave earlier. ”

“Bathroom door swings into the open. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Light switch doesn’t operate a darn thing. Where is the thermostat? Oh! Behind the door. Friendly staff. Cold beer on tap. Next to a DQ, walking distance. Parking is free and so are the smiles! ”

“This hotel has become our "go to" favorite when staying in the Cedar Falls area. Clean, comfortable rooms. Quiet. Safe area. Very friendly staff. A nice pool. Breakfast available in the mornings. Easy to find location not too far off of highway 20. Very close to gas stations. ”

“Great place to stay”

“Everything was very clean. It was a nice place to stay last minute overnight with a great price. Just off of Main Street so there were many restaurants within walking distance. The gated parking was easy to access and nice security. The door lock was also easy and convenient to use. I would stay here again.”

“Room was filthy, mold in bathroom broken TV remote, ac filter was filthy, had a musty smell. Parking lot found meth pipe and broken butcher knife on the ground. The days inn sign out front doesn't work we passed it up the first time. It's okay for a cheap room but it's false advertisement as the breakfast also wasn't included. There wasn't any fresh food other than cereal and they don't have a top burner in the room as it shows online. ”

“For the price it worked out very nice. Large room with fridge microwave toaster and coffee maker. Extra bonus they had a Tesla charger out back I could charge with. Gated parking was nice and the rooms had easy access with coded lock.Jack was a good communicator With all that though, even though they had strict warnings against smoking and a large fine attached if caught, the room still smelled like strong smoke, which I couldn't get past. ”

“Everything was awesome!!! Comfy bed, hot tub accommodations were relaxing and peaceful. It was so comfortable. I loved that there was a snack and beverage option via Venmo, had we been able to stay longer than a sleep it really would have come in handy. Easy check in and awesome host communication. Definitely recommend.”

“Room smelled of mold and smoke. Gave an elderly couple an upstairs room with pets. Was not able to regulate the heat in the room. We left after 1 day, owner was unresponsive. Would not recommend.”

“The house was welcoming and clean, the hosts left clear instructions for check in and check out, and they were quick to respond to messages!”

“The location was great, just a block off Main St. However, there were a couple issues with the room itself. When we arrived the water to the toilet tank was turned off because it will just continually fill so we had to turn the water on and off every time we had to flush the toilet. Second, the TV remote doesn't work with the TV in the room. Finally a couple small things - the light switch by the front door doesn't seem to turn any lights on and there was some trash left in one of the dresser...
